William Randall Thomas

William Randall Thomas, known to many as Bill, 82, of Lake Worth, FL, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 13, 2025. Bill was born on February 9, 1943 at home in Detroit, Michigan. He was a loving, caring husband to his wife, Marion - married 55 years! He was a devoted dad to his daughter, Deanna and a significantly proud Papa to his grandson, William.

Bill took much pride in his career as a Dairy Manager. He started his career with Pathmark Supermarkets in New Jersey. He & his family moved to Tennessee in 1986 where he continued his retail career at then, Foodtown in Dover, TN. After his daughter graduated from high school in 1989, Bill & Marion made the decision to move to Lake Worth, Florida for a warmer climate for his wife's MS condition. Bill always put his family first.

He continued his retail career with Winn Dixie where he retired as Dairy Manager in 1992. Bill wasn't content with retirement, so he worked part-time in dairy for Publix Supermarkets. You'd think that was enough...but nope! Bill took on a Volunteer Handicapped Parking Enforcement position with Palm Beach Sheriff's Office. From 2000 - 2010, he logged 17,664 volunteer, handicapped citation hours and retired as Major Thomas. He also was very involved with his community, neighbors, and oh yes, even the HOA.

He is survived by his wife - Marion Siciliano Thomas, daughter - Deanna Marie Thomas, grandson - William Carney Sisk; two brothers: Samuel Rex Thomas III (Elena), Roy Francis Thomas (Cindy), and 1 sister: Wilna Rita deRosset; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents: Samuel Rex Thomas Jr and Wilna Christine West Thomas.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service in honor of Bill's life on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 between 3-5pm at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 S Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33415.
