Troy Lee Worley

July 16, 1943 — April 17, 2022

Troy Lee Worley, 78, of West Palm Beach, FL (formerly of Frankfort, KY) passed away unexpectedly on April 17, 2022. He was the son of the late McKinley and Paola Worley and was born in Whitley City, KY on July 16, 1943. Troy was a veteran who proudly served in the Navy during the Vietnam War on the USS Enterprise. After having moved to Florida in the 1970s and working for Florida Power & Light as a lineman, he eventually moved back to KY and retired from the state of Kentucky Child Support division after 27 years of devoted service. He was a huge sports fan with a particular fondness for the University of Kentucky Wildcats, tore up the road riding his Harley, and could listen to music all day long. He so loved his puppy dogs.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Hazel Worley, Clona Keith, and Jewell Carrico; and brothers: Gilbert, Dillard and Darrel Worley.

He is survived by daughters: Tara Rebimbas (Jose) of Jupiter, FL; Tamara Worley (Marvin Lopez) of Westlake, FL; and Sharon Skoglund (Chris) of Daphne, AL; grandsons: Bradley Martin, Emmaus Rebimbas, Zach Sizemore, Alex Sizemore, Grayson Skoglund and Jackson Skoglund; sisters: Doris Ross and Ruth Morgan; and several nieces and nephews.

Troy’s request for cremation will be honored and a private family service will be held.
