Todd Elwood Fisher

January 22, 1968 — December 7, 2023

Todd Elwood Fisher, 55, of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away on December 7th, 2023, after a lively life of generosity and inspiration to others. Todd enjoyed classic muscle cars, which sparked when he was a toddler playing with his own father’s tools. As he grew up, he began collecting vintage cars, and he wouldn’t hesitate to travel across states for the perfect car part. Some of the notable classics he admired were his Uncle Ronnie’s old, 1966 Nova and Uncle Neil’s 1935 Fords.

Restoring a vintage car is a serious labor of love and commitment. One is personally invested in every detail from exterior to interior. This became part of Todd’s identity. He personally invested his time not only in classic cars, but in his family and friends. He was family-oriented, generous, and had an epic sense of humor. Todd’s presence was known when he entered a room. His bright blue eyes were smiling with intelligence.

In addition to his love for cars, for many of his early years, he practiced Moo Duk Kwan, a Korean Martial Art, a discipline that stayed with him as he took on leadership roles throughout his future. He became an entrepreneur, starting his own successful business at just 19 years old! He then went on to work in other industrial, supervisor roles, helping to foster others’ talents and encouraging people wherever he went from Florida, to Alaska, to Texas—across the U.S.

In his free time, he was an avid chess player, a game he never stopped playing. Todd’s life itself epitomizes the game of chess in that “When you see a good move, look for a better one.” Indeed, we are sure Todd has moved into a better place, with streets paved of gold—his blond hair crowned by the saints—into the welcoming hands of God.

Todd will be remembered as a pillar of strength: a rock for his family, strong and stable until the clouds parted, and he was taken home to the final rock and refuge of the Lord. Absent from the body and present with the Lord is a common comfort to our family knowing that we will see him again.

Todd was predeceased by his father, Robert Elwood Fisher, and his mother, Teresa Rose Fisher. He is survived by his sister, Tonya Gerardi; his brother, Timothy R. Fisher; his nephews Andrew, Austin, and Alan Brent Hamilton; Timothy and Billy Fisher; his niece Rose Fisher and his great niece, Melody Hamilton. Todd has a huge extended family of aunts/ uncles and many cousins. Todd remains forever in our hearts.
