It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rose M. Applyrs from Lake Worth, Florida, on October 19th, 2025, at the age of 84. Rose was born in Haiti on September 6th, 1941. She graduated from nursing school in 1964, lived a long successful career that ended with her position as coordinator and head nurse at the Kingsbrook Hospital in 2003. She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Mallick Beliace, Myriam Beliace, Romel Beliace, Mylka Belias Washington. Guy-Michel Applyrs (and partner Margareth Dorsainville), Jean-Pascal Applyrs, Robert Applyrs (and spouse Marie Boivin), Giliane Obas (and spouse Clement Kpodar), Cassandra Anne Applyrs (and spouse Hector Cunningham), Nicolas Applyrs Jr and Simon Applyrs; grandnieces and grandnephews: Edward F. Washington, Richard J. Washington, William Washington, Sean Mathis Applyrs, Shanti Mikaelle Applyrs, Lukas Hermane Applyrs, Néhémie Applyrs, Alexia Boivin Applyrs, Mélodie Applyrs, Benjamin Applyrs, Khareem Obas- wiseman, Camille Kpodar, Imani Kpodar, Jacob Applyrs Coulange, Sami Applyrs Cunningham. And cousin Dr Wisly Augustin
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Alfredo Rolon at 12:00 PM on Friday, November 7, 2025 at St. Malachy Catholic Church, 6200 North University Drive, Tamarac, Florida followed by entombment at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in North Lauderdale, Florida.
