Romeo was a U.S. Army Veteran.

He is survived by his daughter, Sarah Cortez, and his brother, Angel Cortez, and the Clapper family.

Private cremation services are in the care of Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 S. Military Trail, West alm Beach, Florida.

Inurnment with Military Honors will be held at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, Florida, time & date to be announced.
