Para sus hijos Susana (Rubio) Cruz y Ronald Roberto Cruz, siempre será un ejemplo para seguir.
Roberto estará en los corazones de sus nietos Edrian Rubio ( Cruz ), Susai Rubio ( Cruz ) Alyssa Cruz, y una bisnieta Arianny.
El más joven de cuatro, estará en las memorias de sus hermanos Rolando Cruz, Elsa Cruz y Gloria Cruz y su sobrino Carlos Cruz.
