He is survived by his wife, Deborah J. Detar, father & stepmother, Donald & Marcia Detar, brothers, Donald Detar, Richard Detar & Corey Detar.

Private cremation services are in the care of Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach.
