Maryalice (Molly) Gladding

September 19, 1946 to August 14, 2021

After a six year fight with Endometrial Cancer, Molly finally succumbed.
Molly was born on Long Island, NY where she learned her love of the water & boating, but
she always thought of Florida as home.
She graduated from the University of Rhode Island where she was a member of the Chi
Omega Sorority. From there she completed a Dietetic Internship at New York
Presbyterian Hospital and became a registered Dietitian. She was a member of the
American Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and served from 2006 to 2007 as the
President of the Florida Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Her last job was in the Palm
Beach County Health Dept. in the WIC (Women, Infants & Children) Program.
She enjoyed traveling, especially to do lighthouse hunting. She visited over 300
lighthouses across the US with her house mate and best friend of 40 years, Jo Ann
Donnelly. She loved cats and dogs and had many in her life. Molly was a fabulous cook
and crafts person. In her later years, she took up watercolor painting and did many of
wild birds.
During her lifetime she was loved by her brothers Thomas (Anne d.) Sanford (Barbara).
She was the beloved Aunt Molly to Laura, Thomas, Mary Lee , Scott, Sanford (Kristi), John
(Annie), and Jennifer Butticci (Mike) . She was a great Great- Aunt to Julia, Mitch, Mia,
Nick, Katie, Tyler, Lauryn Gladding and Grace and James Butticci.
She will be greatly missed by family and friends, especially Jo Ann.

Per her wishes there will be a small private service. In lieu of flowers donations may be
made in her name for Endometrial Cancer to the American Cancer Society.
