Martha Ann Eppright Roussin (Boca Raton, FL), beloved wife, mother, sister, accomplished businesswoman and friend to many, entered eternal life on June 9, 2025. Martha was born on May 3, 1963 in Jefferson City, MO to her loving parents, Charles S. Eppright, DVM, who died in 1968 and Ila (Henrikson) Eppright, who died in 2014. Her dear siblings, Frank D. Eppright and Patti Schehr, predeceased her in 2012 and 2013, respectively. She was also predeceased in 2021 by her beloved father-in-law, Charles F. Roussin. She is survived by her loving husband, Chuck Roussin; her devoted children, Charlie Roussin (Jessica) and Katie Roussin Dietrich (Karson); her treasured brother, Thomas D. Eppright, M.D. (Janice); Elaine Eppright (widow of Frank); her mother-in-law, Ellen Roussin; her brothers-in-law, Steve Roussin and Jim Roussin; and her sister-in-law Nikki Goderwis (Mike). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews: Caroline, Libby, Melanie, Margaret, Charlie, Mallory, Lindsay, Stephen, Ashley, Amber, Ryan, and Justin.
Martha grew up in Versailles, MO and graduated from Versailles Elementary School and Morgan County R-11 High School where she was a cheerleader, a volleyball player, a flautist, and a member of the school chorus and yearbook staff. During high school, Martha worked at Wini’s Fashions on the Square in Versailles. In 1985 Martha graduated from William Woods University, Fulton, MO, cum laude, with a degree in Business. At William Woods she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority and The Colonel’s Twenty, an honorary leadership organization.
Martha began her career in the banking industry but found her calling in 1990 when she became a claims adjuster for Allstate Insurance. Martha won numerous awards as a claims adjuster before she became an agent with Allstate in 2004. In 2009, Martha was recognized as Allstate Insurance Company Agent of the Year for Southeast Florida. Martha subsequently launched Platinum Protection Insurance, an independent insurance agency in Boca Raton. She worked diligently to earn and maintain contracts with major insurance carriers and to provide all her clients with advice and guidance to find the best options for their individual insurance needs.
Martha will be remembered for her incredibly kind and loving nature, her generosity of spirit, and her compassion for others. Her attention to detail throughout her life extended to her meticulous fashion sense and elegant presence radiating a sense of grace and style. She was a beautiful, hard-working, and talented person, who was always happy to listen to and support everyone around her. Despite her own impressive accomplishments, most who knew her would agree that she derived her greatest pride and joy from being a mother and constant cheerleader for her children. She also adored her precious dog, Bailey.
Martha enjoyed boating, traveling, and above all, spending time with her friends and family. While she will be terribly missed, her innate goodness, gentleness, and warmth will always be remembered by everyone who knew and loved her, and she will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
