Marion Louise Meli Coppola

Marion Meli Coppola, born on February 16, 1933 passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on January 4, 2026 with her family and friends at her side.

Marion, originally from Stamford, Connecticut resided in Lake Worth, Florida with her late husband of 67 years, Michael B. Coppola.

She was the eldest daughter of loving parents, Frances Gagliardi Meli and Lucio Vincent Meli of Stamford, Connecticut and was predeceased in death by her loving sister, Carol Meli Carella of Pompano Beach, Florida.

Marion leaves behind two daughters, Marilyn Coppola (Mitch) of West Palm Beach, Florida and Michele Coppola of Stamford, Connecticut along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was a graduate of Stamford High School (1951), a business owner and a dedicated mother and wife of a US Navy veteran and a City of Stamford Firefighter (1955-1975).

After moving to Boca Raton, Florida in 1975, she worked in the medical supply business. In the later years, with Mike, they built two successful businesses. She was happiest spending time with her family and friends and helping those in need.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida. Marion will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, Michael on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road 7, Lake Worth, Florida, where a graveside service will be officiated by Rev. Aidan M. Lacy at 10:30 AM. Please assemble in Lane #1 by 10:15 AM if attending services at the cemetery on Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
