Maria J. Sori
January 28, 1927 — February 2, 2020
Maria J. Sori, of Phoenix, Arizona and formerly of Palm Springs, Florida passed away on February 2, 2020. Maria was born in Managua-Habana, Cuba on January 28, 1927. She was predeceased by her husband, Oscar Orlando Sori in 2006. Maria is survived by her son, Lazaro Sori and daughter, Elena M. (Bryan) Bernardo; grandchildren, Gabriel Sori, Marilyn Sori, Anthony Sori, Maria Isabel Sori and Jeannette Sori, Adam Bernardo, and Alec Bernardo; three great grandchildren; sisters, Juana Curbelo and Zoraida Benitez. Maria will also be lovingly remembered by other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, February 14, 2020 at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida 33415. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Andrew Brierley at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at St. Luke Catholic Church in Palm Springs, Florida. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in West Palm Beach, Florida.
