With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Manuel De Jesus Alvarenga, who entered eternal rest on April 29, 2025, at the age of 79. A devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and faithful servant of God, Manuel’s legacy is one of strength, sacrifice, and unwavering love for his family.

Born on May 17, 1945, in Julticalpa, Honduras, Manuel was the beloved son of the late Maximo and Juana Alvarenga. He married his lifelong partner, Tomasa Sanchez, and together they shared 62 wonderful years of marriage, raising five children: Amanda, Mery, Carlos, Juana, and Elsy. Their union created a large, close-knit family that includes many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who carry his love forward.

In 1992, Manuel made the courageous decision to move to the United States in pursuit of a better life for his family. Through years of dedication and hard work, he provided a foundation of stability and opportunity for future generations. After retiring in 2021, he spent his remaining years in the company of those he cherished most—his wife, children, grandchildren, and friends.

Manuel was a man of deep faith and unwavering devotion. He found joy in life’s simple blessings—sharing meals, stories, and laughter with his loved ones, and watching his family grow and flourish. His presence was a source of wisdom, warmth, and spiritual guidance to all who knew him.

He will be remembered for his gentle heart, his quiet strength, and his enduring faith. Manuel’s legacy lives on in the values he instilled and the countless lives he touched.

He is now reunited in peace with his parents, Maximo and Juana, and rests in the eternal care of our Lord.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, May 9, 2025 at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida. A Graveside Service officiated by Deacon Miguel Munoz will follow on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at Hillcrest Memorial Park in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Con gran pesar, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Manuel De Jesús Alvarenga, quien entró en el descanso eterno el 29 de abril de 2025, a la edad de 79 años. Esposo devoto, padre amoroso, orgulloso abuelo y fiel servidor de Dios, el legado de Manuel es uno de fortaleza, sacrificio y amor inquebrantable por su familia.

Nacido el 17 de mayo de 1945 en Juticalpa, Honduras, Manuel fue el amado hijo de los fallecidos Máximo y Juana Alvarenga. Se casó con su compañera de toda la vida, Tomasa Sánchez, y juntos compartieron 62 maravillosos años de matrimonio, criando a cinco hijos: Amanda, Mary, Carlos, Juana y Elsy. Su unión creó una gran familia unida que incluye muchos nietos y bisnietos que continúan llevando su amor.

En 1992, Manuel tomó la valiente decisión de mudarse a los Estados Unidos en busca de una vida mejor para su familia. A través de años de dedicación y arduo trabajo, proporcionó una base de estabilidad y oportunidades para las generaciones futuras. Tras jubilarse en 2021, pasó sus años restantes en compañía de quienes más amaba: su esposa, hijos, nietos y amigos.

Manuel fue un hombre de profunda fe y devoción inquebrantable. Encontraba alegría en las bendiciones simples de la vida: compartir comidas, historias y risas con sus seres queridos, y ver crecer y florecer a su familia. Su presencia fue fuente de sabiduría, calidez y guía espiritual para todos los que lo conocieron.

Será recordado por su corazón bondadoso, su fuerza serena y su fe perdurable. El legado de Manuel vive en los valores que inculcó y en las innumerables vidas que tocó.

Ahora está reunido en paz con sus padres, Máximo y Juana, y descansa en el cuidado eterno de nuestro Señor.

La familia recibirá a los amigos el viernes 9 de mayo de 2025, de 5:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m., en Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, ubicado en 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida. El sábado 10 de mayo de 2025 se llevará a cabo un servicio en el cementerio, oficiado por el Diácono Miguel Muñoz, en Hillcrest Memorial Park en West Palm Beach, Florida.
