Luana Tringali, formerly of Dania, Florida, and a resident of Furlong, PA, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, June 30, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Cardenas. Born in Jersey City, NJ, Luana was the cherished daughter of the late Frank and Josephine (Felise) Tringali.
Luana dedicated her career to public service, working as an Administrative Assistant with the FBI in North Miami and later as a Paralegal for 35 years with the Broward County District Attorney’s Office. Raised in South Florida, Luana had a passion for fitness and a love for plants, especially orchids. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends. Saturday evenings were special, as she gathered with her family at her daughter’s home to create lasting memories.
Luana is survived by her daughter, Lori Quinn, her husband Francis, and she was a proud grandmother to Jack and Ryan Quinn. She is also survived by her siblings, Jamie Czornyj and Tony Tringali, and was predeceased by her siblings Roseanne and Alfred Tringali. Additionally, Luana is survived by her former husband, Peter Benjamin.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, July 14, 2025, at the South Florida VA National Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Edward.
