1927-2026 Lida Maria Beltran Zapata, age 98 of Lake Worth Beach, FL went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 2, 2026, at JFK Hospital in Lake Worth Beach, Florida, after a brief illness. She moved to Boston from Ecuador in 1970 and in 1979 she moved to Florida.

She was born August 3, 1927, in Santa Fe, Ecuador, a daughter of the late Victor Zapata and Edelmira Zapata. In addition to her parents, Lida was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Pedro Alcizar Beltran. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Marlene Beltran, her son, Isaias Beltran and her nine siblings, Cesar Naranjo, Napoleon Naranjo, Rodolfo Mera, Herminia Mera, Nicanor Zapata, Musoline Zapata, Judith Zapata, Lola Zapata and Bolivar Zapata. Survivors include, her son, Yordi Beltran, daughters, Marjorie Beltran, Rosy Cohen, Sandra Beltran and Elizabeth Beltran and daughter in law, Marisa Beltran. She is also survived by sister, Galuth Zapata, brothers, Luis Zapata, Angel Zapata and Manuel Zapata, her grandchildren, Pedro Beltran, Ronny Beltran, Alex Beltran, David Cohen, Vanessa Siska, Sasha Cohen, Lindsay Alves, Brigitte Baque, Sean Cohen, Natalia Beltran, Ryan Murillo, Nathan Beltran and Julia Beltran, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was the greatest homemaker and she loved to travel, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family whom she loved very much. Her family was everything to her and she was completely devoted to them. She defined the meaning of love and taught them what true love really was. Because of this she was beloved and adored by every member of her family. She had a way of making you feel special and seen. Her favorite hobby was gardening and her passion was taking care of her plants and fruit trees and you always found her in her garden.

The Visitation will be held at Tillman Funeral Home, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33415 on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 from 5:30pm to 9:00pm with Wake Service at 7:00pm, officiated by Deacon Sandi Martinez. A Catholic Mass at St. Luke Catholic Church, 2892 S. Congress Ave., Palm Springs, FL 33461 on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 1:00pm, celebrant Reverend Robinson Aza; interment will conclude services at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery at 3:00pm with Yordi Beltran, Pedro Beltran, David Cohen, Sean Cohen, Ryan Murillo, Shane Siska and Patrick Perez-Galan serving as pallbearers.
