Lana Jeanne Baker was born on July 27, 1944 in Panama City Florida to Harry Cooper Jr. and Juanita Cooper. She was one of six children. She passed away on July 8, 2025 in Jupiter Florida.
Lana married Richard Baker on August 19, 1962 in Nashville TN, and exactly one year later they welcomed their only child, Jana.
After the death of her husband, she and Jana relocated to South Florida where she resided with her best friend, Hazel Stacey, for the last fifty years. Lana is pre-deceased by her husband Richard Baker, sisters Sandra Brown, Linda Lamblin, and brother Terry Cooper.
Lana is survived by her daughter Jana Rahrig and her favorite son in law Jim, her two granddaughters Jennifer Donaldson (Bruce), Jessica Rahrig, and her two great grandchildren, her pride and joy, Karl and Hanalei Donaldson. Her surviving sisters are Connie Williams and Sheila Dickerson (Gary).
A Memorial Service for Lana will be celebrated by Pastor Cindy Cruise at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home on Saturday.
