Kizzy Earthalee Norris, 44, was born on January 25TH 1979 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Roosevelt and Clara (nee Dow) Norris. She later moved to South Florida where she attended Palm Beach Lakes High School and graduated in 1996 as a part of the newly launched Teacher Academy. In 1994 she was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Education was deeply important to Kizzy; she went on to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education in 2001 at Florida Atlantic University and her Master’s Degree of Science in Higher Education from Walden University in 2014. Kizzy dedicated 25 years of life to educating elementary aged children in a combination of primary grades and STEM courses. Along with her deep passion for educating the youth, Kizzy loved going on adventures around the globe. Her love of music also shined during her years of deejaying for school events bringing joy to the hearts of many.
Kizzy leaves behind her beloved siblings Susan Norris, Kevin Norris & wife Kipley, Roland Norris & wife Yvette, two nieces Brittany & Ashli Norris; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who adored her.
A celebration of Kizzy’s life will be open to friends, colleagues, students (former and present) and anyone else whose life she touched at the below location:
