John Joseph Borcky, 73, of Lake Worth, Florida, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 4, 2026.

Born in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, at Chester Crozer Hospital. John lived a life marked by hard work, laughter, and an unwavering love for his family. He built his career as an auto mechanic, earning the respect of those who knew him through his dedication, skill, and willingness to help others.

John enjoyed fishing, cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles, and spending time with his dogs—especially his beloved Sophie. He was a devoted father who treasured time with his family. He coached his sons’ Little League teams when they were young and created lasting memories by taking them bowling during the days of 25-cent games. Those simple moments became some of the family’s most cherished memories.

Known for his sarcastic sense of humor, Bork had a way of making people laugh and could get along with just about anyone. He was fiercely loyal to those he loved and stood by his family through every season of life. His quiet strength, dependable nature, and love for his family will be remembered always.

John is survived by his loving wife of over 40yrs, Sue Borcky, his eldest son, Mark Borcky, and Mark’s husband, Orie Borcky, his younger son, Matt Borcky, and Matt’s wife, Stephanie Harris-Borcky, and his cherished granddaughter, Lina Harris-Borcky.

In accordance to the family’s wishes, a private family gathering will be held at a future date to scatter his ashes.

Bork's love, laughter, and steadfast devotion to his family will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
