John Michael Beddoe

John Michael Beddoe, 56, of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. John was born on March 23, 1970, in Binghamton, New York, to Michael and Darcia Beddoe.

For more than 35 years, John proudly worked as a union electrician alongside many of the men who became his lifelong friends and brothers.

John's spirit and love for life will live on through his mother, Darcia VanCour; his brother, Daniel Beddoe; his beloved wife of 25 years, Nancy Beddoe; his daughter, Melody Telgen; and his cherished grandson, Andersen Telgen. After 27 years apart, John is now reunited with his beloved son, Brandon Beddoe.

John was an avid outdoorsman who spent countless hunting seasons camping with friends and family at the J.W. Corbett Wildlife Management Area. He truly was the life of the party, and everyone who knew him can still hear his unmistakable laugh. John was known for his compassion, quick wit, generous heart, and genuine love for life. Selfless by nature, he was an incredible friend who was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Of all the roles John held throughout his life, the one he treasured most was being "PopPop." He was a devoted father, but becoming a grandfather brought him immeasurable joy. His love for his grandson, Andy, was beyond words, and his eyes would often fill with tears simply thinking about how much he loved him.

John was called home far too soon, with so much life still ahead of him. He fought courageously to remain with those he loved. His passing leaves an immeasurable void that will be deeply felt by his IBEW brothers, his many friends, and his family for the rest of their lives.

May we honor John's memory by sharing his stories, cherishing the moments we had with him, and embracing each day with the same passion and joy that he did. Your spirit will live on in all of us.
