Ida K. Westbrook

Ida K. Westbrook, age 87, of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away March 29, 2021.

Mrs. Westbrook was predeceased by her husband, Robert B. Westbrook, Sr., son, Robert B. Westbrook, Jr., sister, Helen Linn, brother, Clay Kimball.

She will be lovingly remembered by her family, including her daughters, Ann W. Reiners (Rockford), and Marie Westbrook, grandchildren, Mitchell R. Reiners, and Robyn R. Reisch (Nathan), great-grandchildren, Rockford T. Reisch, Rosemary C. Reisch, Russell S. Reisch, brothers, James W. Kimball, Frank Kimball, sisters, EuvaleaStrickland, Eleanor Black (Jerry).

Ida Verlene was born in China Grove, NC and attended Appalachian State Teachers College and graduated from Florida Atlantic University.  She was employed by Palm Beach County Schools until her retirement in 1994, as a teacher at Berkshire and Vice Principal at Lake Park and Roosevelt Elementary Schools.  She enjoyed reading, puzzles, gardening, traveling, attending rocket launches, and keeping in touch with family and friends through letters and cards.  She was a member of The United Methodist Church of the Palm Beaches. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The United Methodist Church of the Palm Beaches or a charity of your choice.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
