Henry Steve Montgomery

Henry Steve Montgomery, 78, passed away on June 4, 2026, at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Henry was born in Butler, Georgia, 1947, to Henry and Jocquelyn Montgomery. He was a retired banker, investor, and self-employed business consultant. He will be remembered by those who knew and loved him for his dedication to family, avid golf enthusiasm, his love of cruising and his sense of humor which was appreciated by all. His family shared many fond memories and good times together over the years.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Janice Montgomery, their son, Brendt Montgomery, and Brendt’s wife, Tanya, and their two children, Henry and Lucy; his daughters, Traci Montgomery and her four children, Sara Dixon, Jeremiah Dixon and his wife, Serah, Neveah Dixon, and Jonah Dixon and Traci’s three grandchildren; daughter, Sheri Montgomery of Boynton Beach, Florida; and daughter Jennifer Whittington and her husband, Robert, of Lake Worth, and their two children, Christian and Lauren. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Kandice Targonski and her husband, Steven, niece, Miranda Calverne and husband, Cameron and son Gavin, niece Laura Foster, nephew Joey Foster. He is also survived by his brothers, Gehrig Montgomery and his wife, Darla Montgomery, of Macon, Georgia, and Tracy Montgomery of Macon, Georgia; his sister, Mitzi Weekley and her husband, Robert Weekley, of Gray, Georgia; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his older sister, Gail West.

A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held in Ormond Beach, Florida, on July 18, 2026.

His legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
