Helen D. Murphy, Of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, passed away on Friday August 27, 2021 at The age of 89.

Helen was born on December 3rd 1931 to the late Emily and H. Edward Leonard in Winthrop MA but lived in Narraganset Bay Rhode Island till the age of 14 to return to Winthrop MA where she met her husband at the Winthrop Yacht club sailing on Boston Harbor and continued through their lives boating around The Cape & the Islands.
 
They were married on August 26th 1951. She passed the day after what would have been their 70th wedding Anniversary.

She held beautiful Holidays in her home in Lowell MA & was a snowbird in the Winter in Palm Beach Gardens Florida. She loved both her Florida and her home on the Cape in Chatham MA where so many family memories were made for over 6 decades.

She was preceded by her husband Attorney Jeremiah F. Murphy in February 25th 2011

Survived by 4 of her 6 children & spouses & 10 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren.

Preceded by Daughter Cheryl B. Clark survived by her Husband William Clark of Lowell & their daughters Kathleen (Clark)  Boyle & husband Jeff Boyle of Tyngsboro MA &  daughter Adrianna , Lauren Clark Diller & husband Attorney Marc Diller of Newton MA & expecting our mothers 7th great grandchild.

Survived by two sister in-laws Maureen Murphy Wilkens of Palm Beach FL & Oyster Harbors MA & Deloris Murphy of Belmont MA

She also leaves behind her close friends Joyce & Ernie who were always there for her of Florida & Anne Guide a life long friend of Haverhill MA and so many more surviving cousins and friends. She loved life and when she could she lived it to the fullest.

She was a member of the Lowell Lawyers Wives Club hosting many of their occasions.

She was a young model for the Hart Modeling Co. in Boston & attended the Rhode Island School of Design.
 
She was a good mother and a good friend she was there when her children needed her most. She would do anything to help anyone. She was a beautiful woman.

She worked along side supporting her husband in his practice of law for 45 years while raising her 6 children and cared for both her parents and her in-laws.

She was remarkable someone who had a great memory and was a strong bold brave woman.

She leaves behind her close friends Joyce & Ernie of Florida and Anne Guide of Haverhill MA and many more who loved her.

She was a spiritual soul, she believed in God & was ready to go to be with her family in Heaven. She believed in Heaven. She loved all of her children.

Our family is also grateful to have been blessed by a wonderful woman Danise Saintil of Mangonia Florida who was there when she needed her. She comforted her and cared for her. Danise was our our Angel when we couldn't be there.

Private cremation services are in the care of Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida
