It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Guy John Ferrone, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend who departed this world on August 5, 2026, after a long and courageous battle. Guy was born on December 5, 1941 in Somerville, Massachusetts, and throughout his life, he exemplified warmth, kindness, and an unwavering dedication to his family and friends.

Guy spent his career working as a barber and in the restaurant industry. He then worked for several limousine companies, where he was much more than just a driver; he was a confidant, a storyteller, and a friend to many of his passengers. His warm smile and gift of gab made each journey a memorable one, as he loved taking great care of his passengers and building wonderful relationships with them. His kindness and ability to make everyone feel welcome and valued touched countless lives, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

On October 12, 1985, Guy married the love of his life, Lisa Bates. Together they built a beautiful life and shared many 40 wonderful years of marriage. Lisa was not just his wife but his best friend, and their love was an inspiration to all who knew them.

Guy is survived by his dedicated wife, Lisa, and his loving children: John Ferrone (wife Kathy), Bryan Ferrone, Denise Hess (husband Zach), and Paul Ferrone, He was a proud grandfather to Dannielle Haskell (husband Ethan), Ryan Ferrone (wife Aileen), Ashley Ferrone, Andrea Ferrone, Micheal Ferrone, Rebecca Hess, Renee Hess, and Christopher Ferrone, and a cherished great-grandfather to Cameron, Rowan, Willow, Isla, Benjamin, and Lily. Each of his family members carries a piece of his heart and legacy with within them.

He was dearly loved by his extended family: Father and mother-in-law, Donald and Marilyn Bates, sisters in law, Laura Bates (husband William McCarthy), Suzanne Mosher (husband Richard), Joy Hackett (husband David), and nieces and nephews, Heather, Kristen (husband Jason Cadwallader), Cole, Bryn, Stone, Violet and Spencer.

Guy was predeceased by his parents Ralph and Florence and his sister Lena Crowley.

Guy John Ferrone will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him. His legacy of kindness, love, and laughter will live on through his family and the countless lives he touched throughout his journey. Rest in peace, dear Guy, knowing you were deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
