GLADYS “TIPPY” MILDRED BRANIN, age 87, of Valrico, Florida, passed away on June 16, 2025. Mrs. Branin was born on October 2, 1937 in Red Bank, New Jersey to the late Theodore and Mildred Palumbo. She graduated Keyport High School in 1955.
She retired as a nurse at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, New Jersey. She moved to West Palm Beach in 1991 to enjoy retirement and spend time with her family. She enjoyed gardening and had a great love for animals. She was a proud member of the Order of the Eastern Star #198 in Freehold, New Jersey for over 50 years.
Mrs. Branin is predeceased by her husband of 55 years, William W. Branin, Sr. and her son, David A. Branin, Sr. She is survived by her son, William W. Branin, Jr.; daughter, Sharon (Stan) Searles; grandchildren, David, Jr., Christopher, William III, Danielle, Michael, and Alyson; great-grandchildren, Maya, Lily, Evan, Sara Rose, Charlotte and Ryan.
She was one of five children and is survived by her sister Audrey Michael and predeceased by siblings Ted Palumbo, Ray Palumbo, and Muriel Hervey.
A Celebration of life for Mrs. Branin will be held from 2-4 PM on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Tillman Funeral Home, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach. She will be interred in Fairview Cemetery in Middletown, New Jersey at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League.
