Gerardo Vargas-Ruiz

Gerardo Vargas-Ruiz, age 89, of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away at home on January 30, 2021. Gerardo was born in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico on January 16, 1932. He was a Veteran of The US Army. Gerardo is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carmen Vargas; children, Arehlys Vargas, Lourdes Vargas, Jorge Roman, Robert Roman, Raymond Roman, Wendy Richardson, Edwin Roman and David Roman; grandchildren, Annabelle, Arleen, Angel, Alex, Ariel, Melissa, Jason, Jorge, Jr., Carmen, Tiffany, Shannel, Jayme, Ray, Jr., Richie, Kaitlyn, Austin, Edwin, Jr., Eric, Nicholas, Tanisha, Valeria and Sofia; siblings, Martha Vargas de Espinosa, Francisco Vargas, Ana Vargas de Caballero and Luis Vargas.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach. A Funeral Service officiated by Deacon Greg Sherman will take place at 3:00 PM at the funeral home on Saturday. Interment with Military Honors will take place at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at South Florida National Cemetery on Lake Worth, Florida.
