Esther Heredia Román, una querida maestra durante muchos años, falleció a la edad de 89 años. Era conocida por su personalidad amable y acogedora que tocó la vida de todos aquellos que la rodeaban. Las cenizas de Esther Román seran llevadas a Memory Gardens Memorial Park en Lake Worth, Florida. El servicio se realizará el día 24 de febrero, comenzando a las 1:00 p.m.

Esther Heredia Román, a woman of science and beloved teacher for many years, passed away at the age of 89. She was known for her warm and welcoming personality and touched the lives of those around her. Esther was born in Havana, Cuba, on June 17, 1934, and lived in Virginia Beach, and Miami before settling in West Palm Beach. She dedicated her life to shaping young minds and instilling a love of learning in those she cared for. 

Esther was preceded in death by her son Luis Deslis and daughter Mabel Roman. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Pedro Román; sisters Xiomara and Irma; son Angel Deslis (Franca); son Jorge Román (Yasmin); son-in-law Nelson Sanchez; her nieces and nephews Thais, Robin, Humberto, Eduardo, and Majincito; grandchildren, Lindsay Wood (James), Leslie Deslis, Louis Deslis (Lauren), Alec Deslis (Patti), Austin Deslis, Rosa Peña, Pedro Sanchez, David, Delia, and Yasmin Román; and her great grandchildren Collin, Emilia, and Liam Wood, and the many friends and neighbors who loved her.

Esther’s ashes will be interred at Memory Gardens Memorial Park in Lake Worth, Florida. The service will be held on February 24, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Esther’s legacy as a compassionate teacher, brilliant mind, and caring woman will endure through the countless lives she has touched. May she rest in peace knowing that her kindness and warmth will always be remembered by those who were lucky enough to know her.
