Eric Luis Hersey

Eric Luis Hersey, of  Augusta, Georgia passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025 at the age of 47. Eric was born on November 11, 1977 in West Palm Beach, Florida to Raquel Hersey and Carey Hersey. He grew up in West Palm Beach and later moved to Augusta where he lived for 30 years.

Eric was known for his compassionate heart for his family and animals, his love for reading and being a phenomenal artist.

Eric will be lovingly remembered by his mother & stepfather; Raquel & Charles Stewart, father; Carey Hersey; brother, Nick Hersey (Leslie); Grandma Olga, Aunt Maria (Rick), Aunt Carmen, Cousin Jennifer (Nathan), Cousin Christina (Steven), Cousin Jessica; Nieces and Nephews, Caleb, Autumn, Celestial, Jacob, Isabella & Jonathan as well as many 2nd and 3rd cousins and many cherished friends, colleagues and community members who will deeply miss him. Eric was predeceased by his cherished Grandpa Luis and Grandpa Clark, loving Aunt Betty and Cousin Daniel.

The visitation will begin 11:00 am, Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home, the Rev. Joe McNett officiant. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, West Palm Beach, Florida.
