Dolores Kutney passed away peacefully on April 8, 2026, at her home in Wellington, Florida, surrounded by her loving family and comforted by her faith.
Dolores was born in Hilldale, Pennsylvania, to her parents, Josephine and Louis Armalay. Dolores lived a life rooted in devotion to her family, her faith, and her community. A devout Catholic, she found strength and purpose in her beliefs and was a dedicated supporter of “Right to Life” causes. Using her God-given talent as an expert seamstress, she lovingly crafted clothes for her family and dresses for dolls to help raise funds for charitable efforts, always giving of herself with a generous and joyful heart.
Dolores was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose kindness and unwavering faith touched all who knew her. Above all, she cherished her family. There was nothing she loved more than her devoted and faithful husband, Albert Kutney, a Navy veteran, with whom she shared 66 blessed years of marriage before his passing in 2019, and her beloved son, Mark Kutney Sr., whose dedicated service to local governments throughout Florida reflects the values she held dear. With faith in God’s promise of eternal life, we take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with Albert, resting in God’s eternal peace.
Dolores is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert, and her sister, Erminia Tinari, of Wyoming, PA.
Dolores is survived by her son Mark Kutney Sr., her daughter-in-law Joanne Kutney, her grandchildren: Mark Kutney Jr., Matthew Kutney, granddaughter-in-law: Jacqueline Kutney, Lauren Kutney, Kimberly Kutney, her great-grandchildren: Nickolas Kutney and Calvin Kutney, her sister: Theresa Chiumento, & Brother-in-law Joseph Chiumento, Yatesville, PA, and her brothers: Daniel Armalay, Austin, Texas, and Jerome (Jerry) Armalay, Plains, PA; all of whom will carry her love and legacy in their hearts.
The family kindly asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Dolores’s memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause she deeply loved and faithfully supported.
Funeral Services for Dolores are pending and will be announced by Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, West Palm Beach, Florida.
