Christopher William Reimels II, 82 of Sinking Spring , Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on December 7. 2025. Born in Amityville, Long Island, NY, he was the son of the late Christopher William Reimels I and Mary Catherine Reimels. He is predeceased by his wife Jean A. Reimels (Ozol) of 42 years. He is survived by his three children, Lisa (wife of Brian Molloy) of Boynton Beach, Florida, Christopher III (husband of Catherine) of Hampstead, NC and Brian (husband of Sarah) of Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania. He was the cherished Grandad of nine grandchildren – Zachary, Jake, & Ryan Molloy, Christopher IV & Collin Reimels, and Caroline, Ella, Anna, & Jack Reimels.
A proud veteran, Chris honorably served his country as an officer in the United States Army Air Defense Artillery. Following his military service, he built a respected career as an Allstate insurance agent, underwriter, and agency owner where he was known for his integrity, dedication, and service to others.
Chris was a devoted and loving husband, his marriage was a testament to enduring love and partnership. His family was the center of his world. He found joy in life’s simple blessings and cherished time spent with those he loved.
He was drawn to the water and throughout his life spent much of his free time with his family boating in the Long Island Sound, clamming, and fishing. In later years, he delighted in the peaceful hobby of shelling with his beloved Jeanie along the Florida Shores.
Chris will be remembered for his deep devotion to God, his gentle spirit, and kindness to others. He leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire those who knew and loved him. A memorial mass was held at St. Ignatius Loyola Church in Whitfield on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 10:00 AM.
The Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 S State Rd, Lake Worth, Florida. Please assemble in Lane # 1 at 10:15 AM.
Donations can be made in Chris’ honor to Salesian Missions, 2 Lefevre Lane, New Rochelle, NY 10801.
