Carmen Maria Acosta

Carmen Maria Acosta, age 95, of Melbourne, Florida passed away on September 12, 2026. Carmen was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on April 28, 1931. She was predeceased by her husband, Julian Acosta-Santos and her children, Teofilio Rios, Jr., David Rios and Richard Rios. Carmen is survived by her children, Israel Rios, Norberto Rios, Rosa Rios and Minerva Rios; sister, Nina Lebron; thirteen grandchildren, many great grandchildren as well as other relatives and countless friends who will miss her dearly.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida. Carmen will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Julian at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, Florida 33513.
