Anne Francis Steins, 87 passed away November 25, 2025. Born August 4, 1938 in Buffalo, New York, Anne Stevens began life's journey in the city where she met her beloved husband William Steins. Together they raised six children and shared a deep love of travel.
With an explorers heart, she and her husband set off in their RV, beginning a chapter filled with maps and highways. Mile by mile they explored nearly every corner of the country, visiting every state except Hawaii.
She will be remembered for her warm heart, strong faith, her love of family and her adventurous spirit on the open road. May she rest peacefully at the end of her beautiful journey.
Anne is preceded in death by her husband William Steins, sons Raymond and Mark, and her daughter Mary Anne Valverde. She is also preceded in death by her sister Teresa Young, and her brothers Howard (Judy) and John Stevens.
She is survived by her sons Michael, Richard (Kim) and Russell (Patti Jo) Steins and her daughter-in-law, Moira. She is also surived by her sisters Margaret Nichols, Barbara (Raymond) Winkowski, Rosemary (Michael) Stanton and her Grandchildren Michael Steins Jr., Deborah Steins, Shellia Young, Regina Steins, and her Great Grandchildren, Harden, Ensley, Loralie, Evelyn, Olivia and Arabella. She also has many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
Anne will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, William at 2:30 PM on Friday, December 19, 2025 at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road 7, Lake Worth, Florida. Rev. Mario Castaneda of St. Rita Catholic Church will officiate services. Please assemble in Lane #3 by 2:15 PM if attending services at the cemetery on Friday.
