Anita Marie Solomon, age 67, passed away on June 13, 2026, at her home in Lake Worth, Florida. She was born on November 8, 1958, in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, and grew up in Masontown, Pennsylvania, before moving to Lake Worth, Florida in 1984.
She dedicated her entire life to her family and God. Everything that she did, she did with passion. She was a devoted Catholic, and found the courage to continue fighting her illness in God, only missing Mass when her doctors advised against it. While she was proud of her faith, she would be the first to let you know that her greatest achievement in life was her family, who she loved and protected so fiercely. She devoted each and every day to being the world’s most perfect wife, mother, and Nonna, and she succeeded. She was the most unselfish, caring, nurturing, and loving person that anyone who knew her ever met. She was a phenomenal cook, and loved sharing her food with her family and friends. She also loved to read, exercise, and have a “happy hour” drink once in a while.
Anita joins her parents, Anthony and Dominica Mojock, who preceded her in death, in eternal heaven.
Anita has been taken far too soon and she will be forever missed and remembered. Her love, passion, wisdom, and smile will live on and grow through the ones that she left behind: her loving husband of 46 years, James (J.C.) Solomon, Jr., her sons, James (J.C.) Solomon, III and Anthony (T.J.) Solomon, daughter, Angela Hutchins, daughters-in-law, Sara Solomon and Katherine Solomon, son-in-law, Tyler Hutchins, grandsons, James (Clark) Solomon, IV, Theodore Solomon, and Barron Solomon, granddaughters, Charlotte Solomon and Palmer Hutchins, and sister, Christine Clark.
A memorial mass celebrating Anita’s life and reunion with the Lord will be held on July 17, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthews Catholic Church, 6090 Hypoluxo Rd, Lake Worth Beach, FL 33463.
