Anita Steele Pledger, age 81, of Lake Worth, Florida passed away on January 29, 2023. Anita was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 31, 1941. She was predeceased by her daughter, Carmelita Pledger. Anita is survived by her husband, Charles L. Pledger; daughters, Melanie D. Artress, Elizabeth Powell and Gina Brantley; her special granddaughter, Monica; 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; 4 sisters. Anita will also be lovingly remembered by many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Private cremation services are under the care of Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, West Palm Beach, Florida.
