Carmine Varricchio

Mr. Carmine Varricchio, age 70, of Lantana, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2009 following a brief illness. Mr. Varricchio was born October 9, 1938 in Chatham New Brunswick, Canada to the late Joseph & Mary (Walsh) Varricchio. Carmine was a retired New York City Police Officer and also a United States Navy veteran. Carmine is survived by his son, Joe (Kelly) Varricchio of Boynton Beach; brothers, Richard (Florence)of Tamarac, FL and James (Judy) of Ithaca, NY; sisters, Helene Varricchio and Mary Ann (Michael) Brennan both of Nanuet, NY; granddaughter, Danielle Varricchio of Boynton Beach and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Services for Carmine will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 12, 2009 in the Chapel of Tillman Funeral Home with Father Aidan Lacy officiating. Inurnment will follow at South Florida National Cemetery with honors at a later date.
