Maria Elena Palhua, 51, passed away Wednesday July 6, 2011 at her West Palm Beach home following a 4 year battle with cancer. Maria was born November 29, 1959 in Lima, Peru and moved to the West Palm Beach area in 2004 from Tucson, Arizona. She was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church. Maria is survived by her loving husband of 11 years, Charles Hammock of West Palm Beach; mother, Alejandrina Asencios of West Palm Beach; father, Solar Palhua of Lima, Peru; brother, Cesar Roqez of New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 12:00 pm Saturday, July 9, 2011 at St. Luke Catholic Church, 2892 South Congress Avenue, Palm Springs, Florida.
