Carolyn C. Mize

Carolyn Cook Mize, 86, passed away in West Palm Beach, Florida on May 6, 2012. Carolyn was born in Miami, Florida on January 11, 1926. She joined Allapattah Baptist Church at age 11. Widow of James Claude Mize, Sr. Carolyn is survived by daughter Terry, son Jim, Jr., daughter-in-law Wanda, 4 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and 2 great-grandsons. Carolyn worked in purchasing, but considered home and family her most important occupation. Service will be held at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth at 9:30, May 11,2012. Family suggests contribution to Hospice of the Palm Beaches in lieu of flowers.
