Iris M. Collazo

Miss. Iris M. Collazo, 89, Lantana, Florida passed away Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Atria Meridian following a brief illness. Miss. Collazo was born September 12, 1922 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico to the late Manuel & Estebania (Rivera) Collazo and she moved to the West Palm Beach area in 1990 from New Jersey. She was a proud veteran of the United States Army. She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church and a retired social worker for the State of New Jersey. Miss. Collazo is survived by her loving sisters, Haydee Kulper of Bonyton Beach, Florida and Delly Colon of Orlando, Florida; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Noon Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at St. Matthew Catholc Church with Father Jacob Asiedu-Frempong as celebrant. Inurnment will follow at the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, Florida with military honors.
