Eugene Francis Lyon, age 80, passed away December 29, 2017. Mr. Lyon was born in Newark, New Jersey on September 23, 1937. He was a veteran of The US Navy. Mr. Lyon is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara E. Lyon; daughter, Karen (Fred) Sherrerd; sons, Eugene F. (Laurie) Lyon, Jr. and Gary (Debbie) Lyon; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Inurnment with military honors will take place at 2:30 PM on Monday, January 8, 2018 at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road 7, Lake Worth, Florida 33467. Please assemble in Lane #1 by 2:15 PM if attending services at the cemetery on Monday.
